Quick Lysol No-Touch Refills

“This is the Lysol Healthy Touch No-Touch hand-soap system. Finally, soap for people afraid to touch soap.” – Bill Maher

After recently finding these for only $5 at the local discount grocery store, I kind of like it. The only thing is the refills. It is the standard razor blade model, cheap set-up, expensive refills. I tried prying the lid off, but I nearly destroyed the lid. I figured there had to be a better way. I thought about puncturing the top and filling it. While quick, it would look terrible. I found a pack of squeeze bottles at the local dollar store and got an idea.

Fill them with liquid hand soap, which can be bought in 2 liter sizes. Turn the cartridge upside down, and  insert the tip all the way into the hole and squeeze the soap into the bottle. Remember that you get what you pay for, and try to avoid cheap plastic bottles like the kind found at dollar stores. They leak.

If this seems like too much work, you can always just buy a refillable pump bottle of hand soap or just use a bar of soap. After owning this for a little over a month, it is not really worth it.
