Armageddon 2: Apocalyptic Boogaloo

As some of you know, October 21, 2011 is a special day for me. That is right, it is Doomsayer Harold Camping’s next target for the end of the World. To celebrate, I decided to create a playlist of some “End of the World” songs. After a little tweaking and rearranging it seemed to almost have a narrative. So what was an Apocalyptic playlist became a Three-Act, 90-minute concept compilation album. So I give you, “Armageddon 2: Apocalyptic Boogaloo.

The narrative begins thus: enter Earth, a beautiful world with one problem, the dominant species is in a near-constant state of war. Business as usual for this suicidal species, except for this day. Today is the end of the world. We now introduce our protagonist who seems to be caught in this battle and with the aid of his companion, proceeds to flee for their insignificant lives. Escaping the onslaught, they find shelter and spend the night, together. The next day, Hell is unleashed upon this tiny world. This is no longer a human problem, things just got Biblical! As this species fights for their own existence, a battle between the supernatural entities of Good and Evil ravage the planet. Billions have perished in the epic holocaust, possibly including our protagonist. In the end, Evil is stopped at the sacrifice of civilization. The day after, society has ended but life goes on. Our protagonist has somehow survived only to be revealed as the true, albeit unknowing, perpetrator.
